CURRICULUM

Lisieux Matriculation Higher Secondary School follows the Tamil Nadu Matriculation system and the Samacheer Kalvi (Uniform System of School Education) syllabus, as prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Our curriculum is designed to ensure a balanced blend of academic excellence, practical learning, and value-based education.

We provide students with a strong foundation in core subjects—English, Tamil, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies—while integrating co-curricular and extracurricular activities to foster holistic development. The Samacheer syllabus promotes conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and real-world application, preparing students to excel in both higher education and life beyond the classroom.

At Lisieux, we aim to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to explore, inquire, and grow into a confident, responsible, and compassionate individual.

Curriculum Overview

At Lisieux Matriculation Higher Secondary School, our academic programme is thoughtfully structured to ensure joyful learning in the early years and a strong academic foundation in higher grades.

Kindergarten (Pre-Primary)

In Kindergarten, we introduce children to the basics of learning through play-based and digital methods rather than traditional rote learning. Lessons are integrated with rhymes, games, creative activities, and theme-based celebrations such as Green Day, Yellow Day, the 50th Day, the 100th Day of School and so on. These experiences make learning joyful, engaging, and meaningful, nurturing curiosity and a lifelong love for learning.
