EXAMINATION & EVALUATION

EXAMINATION & EVALUATION

At Lisieux, academic excellence is a core value. We maintain a rigorous and systematic evaluation process to ensure that every student progresses steadily and develops a deep understanding of the subjects.

Regular Class Tests and Monthly Assessments are conducted to monitor each student’s academic growth and to provide timely feedback for improvement. Students are also required to submit monthly assignments, which encourage independent learning, research skills, and consistency in study habits.

To qualify in the written examinations, students must secure a minimum of 60% marks. However, our evaluation extends beyond academics; we follow a comprehensive assessment system that includes internal components such as assignments, discipline, attendance, class participation, maintenance of notebooks, and library reading summaries.

Our goal is not only to assess performance but to nurture holistic development; cultivating intellectual ability, responsibility, self-discipline, and a genuine love for learning.

PTM (PARENT-TEACHER MEETING)

At Lisieux, Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) are conducted monthly on the second Saturday. These meetings provide a valuable opportunity to discuss each student’s academic progress, overall development, and performance. During the PTM, report cards are also distributed to keep parents informed and engaged in their child’s learning journey.

REMEDIAL CLASSES

At Lisieux, we are committed to ensuring that every student achieves their full potential. To support students who require additional guidance, remedial classes are conducted every morning.

During these sessions, teachers provide focused revisions, personalized attention, and regular assessments to strengthen understanding and bridge learning gaps. Our goal is to help each student improve steadily and reach the highest level of academic performance.
